We spent the third day of our holiday wandering through Burke Street Mall, Elizabeth Street, Swanston Street, Block Arcade and Melbourne Central.
We stumbled upon the cutest little flower stall on Burke Street that sold the loveliest little cactuses! We wanted to buy one, but would that be considered a weapon at an airport? Hmmm....
On our way through Melbourne Central we found this adorable community garden filled with people on laptops, cute couples and girls huddled in corners gossiping. Why doesn't Adelaide have one?!
We got lunch in a packed David Jones food court - tandoori chicken pizza with baby spinach, sun dried tomato and mozarella with peach iced teas. You would think after all that we would be full but our day full of shopping called for a much needed caffeine hit at Starbucks later in the afternoon.... maybe with a side of Krispy Kremes.
Lianna got a coffee frappacino and Kate got a chai tea latte. Yummy!
