Adelaide Vintage Expo

Today we went to the showgrounds to check out the Adelaide Vintage Expo. There were Adelaide designers showcasing their fashion, homewares, body artists displaying their work and vintage cars on show - as well as a band to boogie to!

A Day On The River

On Saturday, we went for a walk along the Torrens River, which is so pretty, especially as the sun decided to come out from hiding for a little bit. We were tempted to go in the paddle boats or zorbing but Lianna wasn't really in adventuring attire!

We went to the Chocolate Bean for lunch which was the cosiest and cutest place ever! From the outside it looks tiny, but it has an upstairs to sit so its much better than first thought. It was decorated with fairy lights and chalk boards which gave it a really quaint and homely atmosphere. Lianna got a chicken wrap and a tonic and Kate got turkey and cranberry sauce in turkish bread with a cappacino.

Last weekend we decided to enjoy a rare sunny winter day by grabbing some lunch in town. Don't let the sun fool you though, it was still freezing! Even rugged up in our thickest winter knits we were still cold!

We got lunch at a cafe called Nano which we have been waiting to try for a while! It's placed on a quiet street surrounded by trees and has a lovely open, friendly atmosphere. We got a toasted chicken, lettuce cheese and mayo panini to share, Lianna had a strawberry smoothie and Kate got a hot chocolate in an attempt to warm herself up!

The Anchorage

Today we went out for lunch at The Anchorage, a seafront restaurant with rustic brick walls and a cosy fireplace. We decided to brave the cold and sit outside to enjoy our meals.

Kate got a pumpkin pizza with pesto and a chai latte and Lianna got lemon and pepper squid with a latte.
