Coral Cafe

It has been amazing weather for the past couple days, which is a nice change from the bipolar weather that is usually part of summer. This time we went to lunch at The Coral Cafe. 

Because we sorta ate before we went out, we both just got a sweet snack. Kate got a MarsBar Milkshake and Lianna got a choc mint milkshake and a passion fruit slice to share!

Lunch By The Sea

It was such a beautiful day, so we decided to venture out and have lunch at the Whalers Inn. The name of the restaurant sounds tacky but it was so nice, food and surroundings. And because it was a really nice day, we sat out on the deck, looking at the sea. I don't think we realise how lucky we are to live in Australia.

Kate had Gnocchi with tomatoes and spinach and Lianna had Barramundi and Chips. Seriously amazing food!

T-BAR

Because of Year 12 for Kate - studying and what not - we have not had the chance to catch up for a blogspot post for a while! Back in late November, earlier December we caught up at the T-Bar. It is a mix between a cafe and T2 and has an oriental feel and beautiful food.

We both had focaccias, Lianna had a chicken and mushroom focaccia and Kate had a turkey and cranberry focaccia.

Botanic Gardens

Today we decided to spend a lazy Sunday taking a stroll through the beautiful Botanic Gardens. We ended up retreating for a cool drink pretty soon though as it was a super hot 35°c!

We went to Scoozi on Rundle Street for lunch, one of our favourite places! It's so open and airy but at the same time has a wonderful cosy atmosphere. Lianna got a margarita pizza and pear juice and Kate got a pumpkin pizza with baby spinach and an iced coffee. It was so hot that we had to stop again halfway through shopping to get a strawberry and banana smoothie!
